The Hickling Village Show committee and the Trustees at Hickling Barn would like tosay a huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who entered the village show this year.

We had an astonishing array of flowers, produce, photography, art and creativity with well over 100 people entering and over 450 entries.

The show itself was extremely well attended with parishioners meeting up with friends and neighbours old and new over tea, cake and may be a beer or two listening to local group “The Jammed”.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our Hickling Crafters to the show, who had a lovely array of items for sale.

Our warmest congratulations go to Sue and Steve Adkins who won the scarecrow competition Kate Dulieu who won the Best Newcomer Trophy for her quilting and to Andrea Hillyer who won the Best in Show Trophy for her magnificent Barn Owl andHarvest Mice Tableau.

As always our heartfelt thanks go to the village volunteers and cake bakers who make this annual event possible.
