Dissolution Policy

This policy applies action taken if the Charity is to be dissolved.

If the Trustees decide that it is necessary to dissolve HPFRGC they shall call a Special General Meeting of all members of HPFRGC of which not less than 21 days’ notice (stating the terms of the resolution proposed) shall be given.  If the proposal is confirmed by a two-thirds majority of those present and voting, the Executive Committee shall have the power to realise any assets held by or on behalf of HPFRGC.  

 Any assets remaining after the satisfaction of any proper debts and liabilities shall be given or transferred to any one or more local organisations or groups which are charities and have charitable purposes similar to those of HPFRGC as determined by the members of HPFRGC.

This policy will be reviewed and updated by the trustees every year at the charity's AGM.
