A new bench has been unveiled at the Barn to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day - the end of World War Two in Europe on May 8.
It has been sited to look over the playing field, where an anti-aircraft spotlight unit was stationed during the war.
The bench was bought with funds raised by the generous efforts of customers at the Greyhound Inn, and landlords Tony and Debi were the first to try the bench out. Debi said: 'A huge thanks to all the customers of the Greyhound, especially those who supported our Bake Off, ‘Allo 'Allo! and Dad's Army fundraising events'
There will be another VE day commemoration from the school which will be designed by the children once classes start again after the lockdown.
